I wasn't really planning on answering any further questions, but whatever.

In all likelihood, I wouldn't bother. Knowing me, I probably wouldn't take my own advice anyway--especially at eight years of age. If I could somehow convince myself, though, I would tell myself to stop slacking, work hard, and develop a singular set of marketable skills. I'd have to decide whether to tell myself that it wouldn't be fun or easy--whether that bit of honesty would help or hinder my younger self's perception of his future.

I'd also ask him to be nicer to his sister, and be more loving in general.

Maybe give him a sports almanac and win some bets with it.

To get over the driving fear, try some driving sims with steering wheel and pedals. Even playing GTA 4 / 5 in first person while following the rules of the road can be helpful.

I need to try harder to make the cuts and edits a little less obvious, I think. Whenever I cut out pauses/stumbles, the next cut sounds like I'm in a completely different room or something. Sorry if that's annoying to anyone else.

Looks good to me. I'm not watching with headphones so can't really hear it that well, but your editing is pretty great for someone with little experience. It's smooth, funny and it all goes together well. Good job.
