yea. one day at a family reunion i was looking through a genealogy/fam history book and i found records showing that there were at least 3 slaves owned by members of my family. it's funny, everyone in the family is soooo proud of owning farmland but neglected to mention the slave ownership until i found out on my own.

I have no idea. For my mom her dad's parents came over from Italy sometime in the 1900's so maybe they're ancestors owned slaves during the Romain Empire or whatever time period.
