Can anyone else sort of sense how someone is feeling behind a text, or even a post on here? Like, sensing the person's energy behind the message.

Of course we're all familiar with intuition. Yet does anyone else think it's intriguing how that intuition spills into the online realm?

I can usually tell, the only person that causes issues for me is my gf, ultra-sarcastic. Problem is, she says similar things when she's actually annoyed, can be scary man

Yea of course.

Not so much in the manner of feeling, no. I know enough about how people work now. A lot of guesswork about how people are feeling over text is incredibly faulty, either by overshooting the mark or undershooting it. But I'm a relatively decent judge of mental patterns so I can make half-accurate predictions on where the conversation is going to lead.

Which sets me off on imaginary conversations with the user and trying to predict all the potential outcomes.

Which, I guess, in its own way, is a manner of understanding how somebody feels.

Insults especially

Yes and no. I'm analytical to a fault. Most of the time, it's pretty easy to glean someone's tone, but other times, if I'm not so sure, I start thinking about all the possible things they could've meant--especially people on Facebook.

Because no one knows texting etiquette.

For example: Saying "k" instead of "okay" is unacceptable unless you want people to think you are pissed off or annoyed.
