Deci, forgive me if I'm mistaken but did you not create a true mute script for Septagon?

If you did, why haven't you muted those who are needling you rather than giving them the response they desire?

I dunno.

However, if I mute anyone that says Explosion Imminent, I'm going to have more people in my ignore list than in my buddy list, and that isn't fun.

Hope you understand dilemma here.
Of course, so then the other option is to let it wash over you.

If you let people affect you in this way, then they will be able to press your buttons whenever they feel like having a laugh. If you either go with the joke, ignore it or something along those lines it goes away pretty quickly.

The best example I can think of is Kinder and the fat jokes.

He's not even fat, but his handling of the situations was appalling and he continuously disregarded all advice over the matter. And now kinder fat jokes are so embedded in the flood psyche that it would take surgery to remove it and even then it would be futile. The streisand effect is one of the simplest and most important things people should learn about online <.<

Decimator Omega, now known as Explosion Imminent, publicly known as Armen, I think we need to address your issues.  You clearly have a problem with people on forums, and it stretches beyond your autism (I apologize for your condition by the way, it is an extremely unfortunate thing to happen to a bright young man such as yourself.)  I think you may have a disorder known as Internet Addiction Disorder.

Quote
Internet addiction disorder (IAD), now more commonly called problematic Internet use (PIU)[1] or compulsive Internet use (CIU).[2] Other overlapping terms include Internet overuse, problematic computer use or pathological computer use – and even iDisorder.[3] These terms avoid the word addiction and are not limited to any single cause, but only reflect a general statement about excessive computer use that interferes with daily life.[4]

IAD was originally proposed as a disorder in a satirical hoax by Ivan Goldberg, M.D., in 1995,[5] though some later researchers have taken his essay seriously. He took pathological gambling as diagnosed by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) as his model for the description of IAD.[6] IAD receives coverage in the press, and possible future classification as a psychological disorder continues to be debated and researched in the psychiatric community.[7] A systematic review of PIU identified a lack of standardization of the conceptualization of PIU as a major impediment to advancing this area of study.[8]

Other habits such as reading, playing computer games, or watching very large numbers of Internet videos or movies are all troubling only to the extent that these activities interfere with normal life. IAD is often divided into subtypes by activity, such as excessive, overwhelming, or inappropriate Internet pornography use, gaming, online social networking, blogging, email,[9] or Internet shopping (shopping addiction).[10] Opponents note that compulsive behaviors may not themselves be addictive.[11]

Internet addiction is a subset of a broader "technology addiction". Obsession with technology started with radio in the 1930s and with television in the 1960s, but has recently exploded in importance during the current digital age.[3] A study published in the journal Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking (2014) suggests that prevalence of Internet addiction varies considerably between countries and is inversely related to quality of life. [12]

I think you may need to cease your internet activity, or at the very least start a consistent process of slowly weaning yourself away from your computer.  I know a good therapist that can help you, he even allows Skype conferences if you cannot make it to his office.

Please, Decimator Omega, now known as Explosion Imminent, I want to help you.  But you have to push yourself as well, my friend and I cannot do this alone.  We need you to commit with us.  Please PM me for information.

God speed.

God speed.

Oh, now you accuse me of this shit? Go kill yourself. Who the fuck are you anyway?

Decimator Omega, now known as Explosion Imminent, please calm down.  I am actually trying to help you.  I was only suggesting what condition you may suffer from due to your displays here on this forum.  Please, send me a message so I may refer you to my therapist friend.

You sound like one of those annoying chat bots. Now piss off. You're nothing but garbage.

I neither fear, nor despise.
