System of a down to release a new album in 2017

Welp. Looks like System is going to be making new music again. Apparently they don't want a Toxicity 2 and want to attract a new generation of fans. Hopefully it doesn't suck but who knows?

I know nobody here really listens to SOAD, but I know some of you used to, so thoughts on this news?

They're more like hard rock, but yeah I don't listen to much metal anymore as I used to, and I haven't listen to a System album since this past summer.

Well Serj says its a maybe to all of this because according to the band, he's the reason that they couldn't make a new album, he didn't feel like it and wanted to go solo.

I'm hoping this new album doesn't bomb though if Serj is forced into doing it.
