One spray towards the neck, and some people spray their wrists.  Don't spray too close.

What kind of cologne is it?

If it's spray, you can directly spray your neck, where you feel your pulse, and/or a spray on the wrists. Or you can spray one wrist a couple times, rub your wrists together, then rub them on your neck.

I use a solid cologne, so instead of spraying I just take a tiny amount on my fingers and do the same as above.

Depends on your cologne strength. Some I'll use two sprays and be good for the day, other weaker ones maybe 4

This is the first time hearing about spraying your wrist, can someone explain?

I thought spraying your wrist was a woman thing with perfume.
