what is it that makes new users make a few posts but only to never return again?

Because, when this place started we had a lot of promise, but too many users with baggage ready to shit on others, which caused drama new people weren't bothered with so they left.

Now, we don't even have newness on our side anymore and those people that did come to check us out were most of the people that would from Bnet, so without that trawling ground for new people the pool has mostly dried up.

tbh it's most likely because of the large amounts of aggression and shitposting. Not everyone enjoys that sort of thing, and we pulled the majority of regulars from B.net that did, or at least didn't mind it.

The other types of peeps were probably just turned off by it and ergo they didn't stick around. Now that we aren't recruiting anymore there's no new influx of members and thus, even if some new peoples wouldn't mind the aggression and shitposting, it's not like they know about this place. We aren't exactly on the radar anymore.
