Affleck is going to be a god tier batman although i'm still iffy on his Bruce Wayne. Christian Bale did probably the best Bruce Wayne to date because he's a rich pompous douche IRL.

I don't know about that... I never liked Bale's Batman, but yeah, his Bruce Wayne was spot on.

But Affleck looks pretty darn close to The Dark Knight Returns' Bruce Wayne. Lets hope that's the only thing they've stolen from that story...

Personally i don't have a problem with Eisenberg's Luthor. That's just me I guess. They honestly should have gotten the guy from that show Smallville, he would have been better.

Rosenbaum would have been to Luthor what Affleck is to Batman. And I know it's a pretty popular opinion, but Cranston would have easily been my first choice... no reason Lex has to be young here.

But the religious imagery involving Superman comes across as though a fucking twelve year old who wanted to be edgy wrote it.

I don't know about that, but I do agree. It is ridiculous.

I'm not very excited for this film, but I will say that the Superman neo-Nazis thing is an interesting concept.

I am excited for it, but only on the off-chance that it isn't a big-screen adaptation of Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns". Normally, I don't look at any trailers after the first one is released. But for this movie, I just don't give a fuck. I already know how Batman intends to "make Superman bleed", thanks to leaks and such.

I'm not quite sure how anyone can really be attracted to her... I mean, obviously her facial structure is quite pleasing (and she does look like Diana in that respect), but I don't understand the appeal. I'd rather sacrifice good looks for acting skill and a closer resemblance to WW.

All I saw was a cool comic book heist movie which isn't your typical "le quirky" Marvel film that the market has been saturated with.

It just seems fairly obvious. Take an obscure team of criminals that not many people know of and put them in a position to play hero.

It's a heist formula, yes. GotG isn't exactly a novel concept that's never been done before either. It's literally just Avengers 1.5 in space.

Not really. There weren't any build up movies to GotG like there were with Avengers. They just introduced a bunch of characters, and let the story take course (albeit, in an infantile manner). There's nothing to suggest that Suicide Squad will fail, especially given what we've potentially got in store with Leto's Joker. You're just shooting in the dark at this point.
