The iPhone app works on the iPad, and the iPad upscales iPhone apps in a way that doesn't make it pixelated. I don't know how it works, but I think it fills in the missing information in some way and makes it look smooth.

Yeah, no. Using the iPhone version on the iPad makes it look very pixelated.

That's not true. Text is conserved because they're vectors, but all raster images are pixelated to some degree. I've got both the iPhone and the iPad, and there is a clear difference.

I'm still happy with the iPhone app running on the iPad (mini) but I guess a native app would be better no matter how you look at it.
