You know I really want to know the secret to staying online while not really on here. I tried even getting on my iPad and leaving it on for the night but there is that 15 minute boot window or some shit that disconnects you from the server until you refresh the page, and I can't just refresh every 15 minutes while sleeping.

Also Rocket, I gave you an upvote just now. Not sure if that shit is real or placebo. Either you hit 100 or 120 online days, then you should be Marty. In my case I have a long ass way to go.

One of the ideas I had for paid subscriptions was an automatic rank upgrade to the next rank for $25. For instance, I'm mythic right now, I purchase one upgrade that can only be bought once a year and I upgrade to Marty.

Too bad Cheat said no. Would be a nice way to cheat the system.

How would you guys feel about capping the progressive ranks at Mythic and then adding in 3-4 relative ranks that only allow the top-ranked members in? I'm thinking that might be a better solution than moving the goals for the ranks again.

So for instance:

Everything is the same up to Mythic. Once you hit Mythic, your posts, time online, warnings, trust, etc would be weighted and added up, and each day or week or something, the forum would basically check and see who the top ranking users are, then assign them to the extra-mythic ranks.

Kind of like a seasonal rank in Halo 5 or something, but more relative and long term, since you'd be competing with the member pool as a whole.
