Ice Skating

Is anyone here decent at ice skating? I went yesterday, Jesus it was a nightmare. Could barely stay up, it was terrifying. The worst part is I think it gave me nightmares, I kept dreaming about falling down and I would shudder and jerk awake o_O

I can ice skate, but last time I went ice skating, I woke up in a first aid room.

Last winter, me and my friends would go out to a frozen pond in the center of town and play ice hockey, but it was my first year ever attempting to skate, and the skates were loose as fuck, so I didn't make much progress.

I can, uh, skate in a straight line... For a little while...

I was when I was younger, after having gone a few times. Couldn't do anything crazy but I could at least pick up some decent speed. I haven't done it in years though.

I used to be able to roller skate backwards too but I'd probs bust my ass if I tried it now.
