I just saw an article that said that Leia isn't gonna be in Episode 9.

I too am curious as to what is gonna happen to her in the upcoming movie.

They won't do that, it would be terribly callous and I think they know that.

Cushing was different. He's been dead since '94, and as far as I know was happy to have been in Star Wars, unlike the other veteran actor who was part of the cast, Alec Guiness.

Also I think I've said this before but in hindsight FUCK J.J. Abrams. I can't watch TFA at all after having had a couple years to mull it over. I just can't enjoy it.

The Last Jedi WILL be different from Empire--the purpose of TFA's echoing of ANH was to carefully dip our toes back into the Star Wars universe, taking care not to piss off any fanboys and introducing a new generation to the general concepts and themes that a classic Star Wars movie would offer. Which inadvertently pissed off fanboys in the end anyway, but it was still a very smart and respectable move, considering the sheer amount of >neurodevelopmental we're dealing with here.

Given that Abrams was replaced with an absolute nobody, I can't say that he'll just pull an amazing movie out of his ass. But I've been surprised before, and this teaser contained a lot of cool and interesting shots--so maybe it'll be great. I have no predictions on that front.

It's pretty good. Not the greatest sci-fi movie around, but it's not mindless stupidity either.

Even if it's similar to ANH, it's still an enjoyable film (and I prefer Kylo to ANH Vader). Not my favourite piece of Star Wars content, but I enjoy it a ton.

Honestly trailer wise they are always good. Now let's see if the plot is even good. Already disappointed at the unimaginative seventh film. Would rather watch "The Assassin's bodyguard" than that if it is another copy paste of old movies.

Watch it be a plot by plot copy paste of the prequels.

And the ninth movie be a copy paste of all the other ewok movie.
