I actually own these. All they did was take the VHS content and write it into a DVD. On any modern high definition TV it's unwatchable. It's exactly the same as hooking a VHS player up and watching that. It's stretched and zoomed in so much that the picture is totally fucked up, the audio sucks, and it's not at all what I've been talking about. High definition, high fidelity audio, theatrical cut. No extra explosions, Greedo never gets off a shot, no early Jaba dialog, no extra CGI assets in the Tatooine scenes, etc.

I just watched A New Hope last week. Either that guy has a shit DVD player, or doesn't know how to setup his TV correctly.
