III is the best prequel movie though
Quote from: Falco on December 28, 2015, 02:12:42 PMI don't mind the Ewoks or the fact that Han Solo lives in 6, but I mind why those decisions were made. That's my problem with Ep. 6. As someone who values creative integrity as much as I do, I'd think you'd appreciate that sentiment as well. Lucas sold out with 6 -- and that's a problem.yeah but that has nothing to do with the art itselfit just doesn'tgreen day sold out with american idiot--still generally regarded as a good record

They didn't really sell out... and it's one of the single greatest pop-punk albums of all time.

Oh dear Lord, are people seriously thinking the 15 year old Darth Jar Jar joke/myth is something Lucas seriously envisioned?

I'm 99% sure that quote is from Lucas talking with one of the producers about the comedy in Phantom Menace, and that Jar Jar was the central role for comedic relief in the film, while mentioning how C3PO was like that in A New Hope.

The pacing of that movie was god awful.the podracing was actually the only thing i didn't likeit was a fun scene, but it went on for way too longother than that, the pacing was fineQuote from: Luciana on December 28, 2015, 02:05:59 PMYeah but there is a difference between things being grounded in reality, and just being completely whacky.was the battle of endor really that wackyreally

God, do I wish I could find that fan film, though.
I vehemently disagree with you, and yes I think the battle of Endor as opposed to something like Hoth where it actually felt like the Empire had a brain, was wacky.

Those giant walker things with the legs? And you destroy them by wrapping a tether cord around them a bunch of times? C'mon.
