What's everyone's beef with 6?
i mean really, people call my opinions bad when they can't even come up with a proper reason to dislike RotJother than "ewoks shouldn't be able to kill stormtroopers" (as if star wars has ever been grounded in reality)ugh
it's hard to defend some of the stuff that happens in II, even as ardent as a prequel defender as i amit's still better than dogshit though
III is the best prequel movie though
1 is a lot better when you consider Lucas's original plan for the series.

The pacing of that movie was god awful.
Yeah but there is a difference between things being grounded in reality, and just being completely whacky.
I don't mind the Ewoks or the fact that Han Solo lives in 6, but I mind why those decisions were made. That's my problem with Ep. 6. As someone who values creative integrity as much as I do, I'd think you'd appreciate that sentiment as well. Lucas sold out with 6 -- and that's a problem.
What was his original plans? I don't think that matters at all though. Regardless of how you "intend" for something to come out, it doesn't change what we actually got.
]yeah but that has nothing to do with the art itselfit just doesn'tgreen day sold out with american idiot--still generally regarded as a good record

His original plan was for Jar-Jar to be the Sith equivalent of Yoda, which completely negates any shit he gets in TPM.
I don't know who told you this, but it's simply not true.
The throne room scenes in ROTJ are my favorite scenes in the entire original trilogy. They're so fucking good.
