He had less screen time but I would classify him as a main character.

He didn't have THAT little of screen time tbh. He was the first person you saw in the film. Had his own scene on the attack at Starkiller base, met up with Finn twice, etc.

Somebody said they saw Luke's robotic hand on Rey's shoulder as a child in her crazy lightsaber flashback.
I didn't notice that myself though.

I don't have issues with her being his daughter because that raises the question:
who is her mother?

I just got back from watching it the second time.

This time I noticed Luke standing next to a tombstone it looks. If it is, I wonder who it's for.

Oh and another thing: When Rey touches the lightsaber for the first time and sees all these flashbacks, I coulda swore I heard Yoda talking. There was also another voice shortly after that but couldn't make out what it said.

I still think it was a tombstone and Luke wearing the hood and cape reminded me of the scene in The Clone Wars cartoon where Obi Wan fakes his death. At the funeral, all the Jedi that attended wore hoods and capes.

Just some theories. Snoke was also a teacher at the academy Luke set up. The two had some kind of disagreement, Snoke creates the Knights of Ren. Or he was an undercover Sith all along. Or, he thinks what he is doing is actually bringing balance to the Force, there can't be balance unless there is a Dark Side to counter the Light; Sith to counter Jedi. Or not Sith at all, something new, or a new iteration of them.

Ben's first test was to kill Luke's wife ("even you, Master of the Knights of Ren, have never faced such a test"), assuming he had one, and all the other Jedi pupils. I think that when Luke puts his hand on R2 in the flashback, that's his wife's grave or funeral pyre, and the scene is right before he decides to leave everything behind.

Rey must be Luke's daughter, but he did not want her to be at the academy because he feared for her safety; Ben would have slaughtered her/Snoke turn her. She was dropped off at Jakku and watched over by Max Von Sydow's character. When the time is right Luke knew she would come to him. It has to be! No other way she could be so powerful.

Or alternatively you could say that balance was achieved when only one side existed. The Sith Rule of Two rule was present for a bit of an important reason.

Well no, the Dark side of the Force is an imbalance of the Force. That's why the Force always tries to correct itself via prophecies and such.

I think the Gray Jedi would agree with Sandtrap. But when the force comes to mind, balance to mean means "stability". The Jedi are stable whereas the Sith and Dark Jedi are rage, brute force, and instability.

I just saw it, fucking loved it, here's a few things that I think:

-Melee Stormtrooper stole the show. Fucking put him as a Hero in Battlefront NOW.
-The fuck did Brienne of Darth go? Did they really shove her down the garbage chute?
-So is Snoke Plaguies or what? I saw art of Palpy and Plaguies and he had a massive head so idk, maybe.
-Thought Kylo was gonna push Han off the edge, or stab him with his crossguard.
-Was hoping to hear Luke speak but whatever.

He did that when in Episode III he killed all but 2 Jedi and there were 2 Sith left.

It's a purposely vague statement that can be contorted and was likely made by some force user on shrooms.

No. When the Force reached out to the first force-sensitive people who ever existed, they were, essentially, Jedi. It wasn't until people got ballsy and started tampering with it that they began to use the unnatural abilities of the Force, hence, the imbalance.

The entire prophecy confirms this. There's no balance until the imbalance is removed (imbalance being, dark side of the Force users.)
