Suffice to say the odds of him reappearing in a Spider-Man-related film are nil.

He was so passionate about being the actor too.

2014 was 2 years ago.
They rebooted for two reasons.1. Paramount or Sony or whatever reached a deal with Marvel/Disney for the usage of Spider-man in the MCU. So of course they would have to reboot cause not only did the Garfield ones suck. They don't fit in the MCU.2. Sony had some kind of dispute with Sony. I haven't looked into because I don't give a shit, but I think he said mean things and Sony was just like "You're fired."
