Sorta jumped ship after the Nextpocalypse. Went to reddit. Checked back on B.net today to see opinions on MCC. Found out about this site.

Is this essentially the new Flood? Because I sure do miss the old one, and this one definitely has the look.

Pretty much, this is where most of the flood has gone <.<
There are still a few people left on Bnet, but it's really a shadow of a shadow of it's former self now.

So many of the older members left when the site updated (either the original update, or the more recent one) and it was the more recent update combined with the tidal wave of desticles that was really the final straw <.<

Obviously not all of those who joined for destiny are desticles, but far too many of them are .-.

To put it simply, B.net is no longer the place it once was. This site is a more than comfortable new home for the flood >_>

Man, I wish this place had surfaced right after the b.next update. Probs would have gotten a lot more old community members. Was all that only a year and a half ago...

I might have to spend some time here.

B.net isn't horrible but the community is gone there. New people don't realize it's not them we hate, it's us having to watch our home mangled and turned into only shitposting and flaming. No more funny / gaming posts :/

This place has more old flood topics and some good discussion, especially in gaming/serious. This section (The Flood) is more laid back. Enjoy your stay.

Indeed, it is a pity but it's certainly great that it's here now. We've had a few of the older people filtering through to here, perhaps more will come if they learn of it <.<

Regrettably not, it's still as dire as it has been for the last few days :l
Skype has been dropping in and out constantly and it takes a good few minutes for each page to load.
They've said they will be giving us an update soon though, but it looks like it might actually be a region problem rather than with out specific line <.<
