I can already tell that movies going to be a disappointing.  Frieza as soon as getting revived and told of Goku beating Majin buu scoffs. He says he can beat him with 4 months training since he was so strong naturally without training, cuz dat plot potential.  Screen shots show the z-fighters struggling with frieza's minion's, somehow Roshi fights, Gohan looks like a gay jogger lacking a gucci hip bag, Goku will no longer transform due to retaining god strength in base, etc.  This plot is worse than some random fan fiction.

Everything after Freeza's first defeat was worse than some random fanfiction.

They should have done this. Looks WAY more intimidating and less faggy too

He's supposed to shed layers though, that was the point of Frieza's transformations. They were forms that repressed his powers. I like the idea of his natural form being so unadorned and ergonomic.

Cooler had one more form than Frieza and it was essentially an armored version of the final form so it looks like it fits.

I'd rather have something else though or just no new transformation altogether.

Cooler ran in the face of canon. Whoever wrote it didn't understand/didn't find it profitable to understand the transformation process of Frieza's people.

I don't mind it that much tbh. It's a little silly but as long as they get his voice right then I'll be okay

Toriyama designed Cooler.

Then he didn't find it profitable. Toriyama got told what to do a lot over the course of the original DBZ tenure. Piccolo was originally going to be Majiin, ect ect.

Brah, it's more like Toriyama doesn't give a shit. He stopped giving a shit about canon after the saiyan saga. That's why the plot is riddled with holes and inconsistencies.

Arguably he stopped caring after Goku finished training with King Kai, because even the end of the Saiyan Saga kinda felt like bullshit.

I was expecting him to have a transformation like Zarbon and Cooler. When they go stronger they transform into some type of form. Zarbon looked more bulky and Cooler has a new form. A transformation would go perfectly with Frieza since he was based around it. This SSJ wannabe thing of his is just lazy.   

Mainly because that's supposed to be his true form. He was the opposite of Zarbon and Coola in that his transformations were supposed to limit him instead of make him stronger. When he transforms, he's shedding another restriction until we get to his sleek, plain fourth form/technically first form.

But this is like 10x worse.  I mean aside from Gero finding metal and skin stronger than Frieza's bones, Cell wasn't so unbelievable, Majin Buu was magical. Frieza thinks in 4 months training he can get stronger than super saiyan 3 Goku and Majin Buu, which took Goku almost 2 decades mostly in others dimensions with benefits (the room of spirit and time's harsh climate and the other world not hindering energy levels) and additional form multipliers.

 It just seems outta character that Frieza didn't train once.  In 2 months at the pace he coulda got stronger than his family and broke free from their restraints and guaranteed beating Goku after Namek.  It just seems like a weak retcon.  It woulda made more sense for The God of Destruction to use magic to have Frieza take his place and to test Goku who's been training under Whis.

Well the androids were stronger than Frieza.  Unless they were just really good at using their ki to take hits.  Android 18 broke Trunks sword he cut up Frieza with casually with her forearm.
