Rams franchise owner is getting into spats with the people that own the stadium because they're not fulfilling contractual obligations, I think, so he wants out and figures that they should move back to where they played from the... 60's? until '95 when they moved to St. Luis.

I'm not so sure. The Spanos family has been clear they want to, I think this is for real. Barring San Diego footing the whole bill, I don't see them staying.

But I don't see this turning out well for the Chargers. They will be going from one of two teams in a market to a pretty saturated city. They're not a winning team, and fans have options there.

Like it or not, sports are a MASSIVE business. I'm a San Diegan, and the Chargers mean billions of dollars for my city. Losing them means a hit to our local economy. The fact that you feel Football fans are idiots doesn't detract from the number of jobs that will be lost by their leaving.
