So my friend has never seen Star Wars, what order should I show him it?

Well okay he has, but like.. once when he was 5. Apparently all he remembers is someone said "I've got a bad feeling about this.". He also says he wants to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Should I go IV, V, VI, I, II, TCW, III? Or I, II, TCW, III, IV, V, VI?

Do the Original Trilogy first, then the Prequels.

That's how most of us watched them, and we turned out fine.

Yeah, pretty much this. There are lots of subtle hits and allusions to the original trilogy in the new trilogy that you'll miss if you haven't seen 4, 5, and 6 first.

Technically yes, though I was more referring to the TV show. But yes, there is a TCW movie, making it the 7th Star Wars movie.

Well, duh. Though I don't see why it being animated negates that. I think it's more the fact that it's called The Clone Wars, not Episode VII.
