so im at work on my break and i go to a shop nearby and get a redbull
im walking in and i see this guy in a wheelchair looking really uncomfortable, i wanted to ignore it cuz i was on my break and for working an 8 hour shift i only get a 30 minute break so i can't really waste time but anyway i'm uniform so i ask him if he's okay.

he says his wife told him to stay in our store whilst she goes to the opposite store to grab something quickly, this was apparently over 45 minutes ago and he was wondering where she was. now mind you this guy wasn't just physically handicapped he definitely had some mental disabilities too and a speech impediment. he described her appearance to me (middle aged, brown hair, also in a wheelchair) and I went over to the other store. here's the cringey/awkward part.

well im in the store looking for a women who matches his description and i go up to her asking if she's left her husband in the store nearby and she just gives me a nasty look and replies with "i don't have a husband"


the cringe ensues and i just tell her im sorry to have bothered her and go out

mind you in my defence, after seeing her i went around the whole store and she was the only one to match the description so i thought i was good. obviously not >_____________>

I took taekwondo back when I was 12 or so, and there was this one kid who came in every time wearing one of those blue Naruto headbands. Even back then, the cringe was tangible.

Edit: wait, cringy shit I've done? Uh...I walked into the girl's bathroom back in high school once. I tried to play it off like I meant to and just washed my hands but I doubt I fooled anyone.
