Not at all. It's an old school trick to quickly differentiate between O's and 0's. Sometimes in handwriting people develop identical 0's and O's, so it's simply easier to mark the zero with a strike through so you never have that happen.

if you write down a password or url or something for someone that could potentially contain O and 0 and you don't slash your zeros you are an objectively bad person

An O with a / through it means undefined

Ø means the empty set, normally a slashed zero wouldn't have the slash extend outside the circle
