ACTUAL SPOILERSyeah, there's totally a "3 dimensional 5th dimension" within black holes, allowing us to change the past with gravity or something. that's totally scientific.
It's getting rave reviews by a culture that thinks they "fucking love science" because they saw a cool gif on Facebook. Don't take it scientific face-value, just enjoy the ride and set aside the knowledge that using real science would make a movie utterly boring.
