So I dialed 911 for a friend who lied to me.

I was talking to a friend who said he was dying. In all context, it seemed serious, so I dialed 911 to get an ambulance for him. Turns out it was a joke and he lied to me, and now I have a unit being sent to MY place instead. Needless to say, I'm fucking pissed. What should I do?

He lives a little further away from me and they can trace your call location. I was drunk at a party once and didn't realize I had butt-dialed 911. I hung up when I saw it thinking it was just a short call, but turned out to be long enough a firetruck was sent to the general area. It rolled by with lights flashing, slowly, just in case it might have been a legitimate 911 call. Well, I can't say that for sure, since I do know police had visited earlier to tell us to keep the noise a bit down, but that could have just been coincidence.
