Cassette tapes are redundant who publishes new music on tapes? Oh wait you're probably one of those people that doesn't like new music and prefers "le good ol' music"
Do you also use a record player?
Is this 1985
I just wish you would admit that you want it because it's vintage and you think it's cool.Trying to make a case for cassette tapes when their clearly obsolete is ridiculous.Go buy an old pioneer mp3 player with the clicky buttons.

and I hate to break it to you but even if you carry a backpack full of tapes you don't get near 8gb worth of music.
Also if you're paying 20 dollars for a CD, especially an older one, you're getting hosed.
The only reason to rock cassette tapes is because it's retro and that's neat.
Plus you can definitely get an mp3 player with album artwork and proper filenames for cheap.
Also if you had just acquired all these cds, why would you switch mediums?
Prices of a CD vary completely and are mostly based on how much content is on the disc. Case in point being game OST's costing more than twenty bucks but having anywhere from 40-100 tracks on them. QuoteAlso if you had just acquired all these cds, why would you switch mediums?i didnt switch mediums. i collect both. my car only has a cd player, so ive always had those. and i inherited a lot of quality tapes from my dad so i just started collecting them, too.the car im buying for winter has a tape deck too so it just makes good sense
Are you guys high? Normal CD's are like, eight to twelve dollars.

Pick five random CD's in your collection, then tell me how many tracks are on each one. Quote from: DAS B00T x2 on August 17, 2016, 03:31:45 PMAre you guys high? Normal CD's are like, eight to twelve dollars. Twenty maybe for special editions, maybe thirty for imports.

OST's are inflated for no valid reason, compare to a cd of baroque concertos or a large single disc collection of Chopin.
Other than the fact that they come with more content on the disc? Quote from: DAS B00T x2 on August 17, 2016, 03:45:43 PMOST's are inflated for no valid reason, compare to a cd of baroque concertos or a large single disc collection of Chopin.
