So, I've started a shit storm (story time)

Alrighty, where do I start...

So, around the first week of college, my roommates and I decided to go around our hall and introduce ourselves to everyone to, ya know, try and be friendly. We eventually made it to a group of girls who live down the hall from us, and that's where this all begins. I could instantly tell that one of the girls who lived there was interested in me by the way she looked and talked to me, and the next day they invited us over for a "movie night." This movie night ended with me bonding with the girl and sleeping with her that night, building these intense feelings that I've had up until today.

So, what exactly happened? Throughout the last month I've spent lots of time with her, from going to the library together to study, to watching Netflix with her instead of going out with friends. Basically, we were building a friendship, and I assumed that she would be ready to take it to the next level. However, about a week ago her roommate decided to let me know that she had a boyfriend back home and that she was just using me this entire time. So last night I decided to confront her about it, and she told me that she's wanted to be with me this entire month that we've known each other, but she simply couldn't break up with her boyfriend because she "loves him." I decided that I would lay it all out on the line and tell her exactly how I felt about her, that maybe if she really knew then she would change her mind, but that simply wasn't the case. She told me that her feelings for me were real but she made the decision to stay in her relationship, so what did I do?

I started a shit storm, that's what I did. After letting out all of my pent up anger in the gym today, I came back home with the mindset that I was going to find her boyfriend and contact him anonymously, letting him know that his girlfriend wasn't being loyal and that he should ask her about the guy who she slept with down the hall; that's exactly what I did.

So, to those who decided to read this entire thing, did I make the right choice here?

i had this nagging thought in the back of my mind that one day i would be able to be with her, and that affected how i talked to new girls that I've met. it made me scared to make moves on other girls because i thought it would ruin my chances with her.

now i don't give a fuck about my chances with her, I'm ready to watch her receive consequences for her actions
