But I have a full time job, and several lines of credit.

I'm moving back to where I grew up and still looking for a place, crashing with a friend.

Last time I actually had to sleep in drug dens and shit like that, but it feels good to just be in transition in my life, and still a responsible adult who just hasn't settled in yet, instead of the broke teenager I was when I was actually homeless.

But for now, I don't have a place to call my own, and I'm moving on and I like to think moving up in life.

I would say AMA, but I hate answering questions, so I'll just ask one instead.

Had anybody else here ever been homeless or known anybody who was?

I suppose we all thought that one way or another.
The worst I've had to do is couch surfing. It's not that bad really.

i'm still in school, so no i haven't been homeless (or had to worry about having a home). a family friend at one point knocked up his girlfriend, was kicked out of his house, and couchsurfed for a while... but he managed to pull his life together fairly well once his kid was born. i think he has a few now, and a place to at least live w/ his girlfriend (wife? idk haven't talked to them in a while). he's the only homeless person i've properly known.

You're a hypocrite. That's the advice that I gave you when you were on the verge of going homeless. I told you to see if there are any shelters nearby, and you were all like "nope, fuck that."
