This has been posted before, but I think it's worth sharing again.

Tab for a Cause is a browser addon that changes what happens when you open up a blank tab. Every time you do so, a little ad in the corner helps to draw just a little bit of money to charity. Every new tab you open gives you one "heart" which you can then choose to spend on either one of five categories (Human Rights, Water, Education, Health, The Environment) or to specific charities such as Human Rights Watch and Save the Children.
