i was never really close in Diamond, I didn't have a Gameboy advance, so there was no way for me to get a lot of the kanto/johto/hoenn pokemon

none were too difficult. Omega Ruby had a lot of the pokemon i needed, so i just transferred over to Y with Bank.

i also abused the Blissey secret bases, so leveling up was no problem at all.

however, Porygon2 and Z kept eluding me. at the time, i only had 1 ds, so i couldn't trade with myself. I had to use GTS and boy was that annoying. damn people asking for mew and zekrom and any other legendary. but i eventually got them. :)
