Personally I don't think so.

Theres no real need at our size, we have several members that are into anime, but we'd need more for an anime board to become viable.

Yes, we need some type of forum just for the weebs so we can concentrate and contain them. Then we can IP ban the whole forum without risking a normal user getting banned from it.

I just fear that it might scare away certain new users. Putting anime on the same level as the boards of general discussion and gaming could give the wrong impression that we are a forum with a strong and specific focus on anime as one of our main aspects. I mean, would you be as eager to join a forum when one of its three primary aspects was MLP discussion and content?

No, I don't think that would be such a good idea. I'm all in favor of an anime private group when the time comes, though.
