Go for anything you can, really. A jobs a job.

Plus yes, you starting early will makes things easier, and you can spend your money on things you want while you dont have to literally pay to stay alive.

I hated working at Kroger. I was 14 when my mom forced me to get a job there, but I think I hated it the most because it was the same Kroger that my mom has worked at for now 15 years.

Working with one of your parents is hell...

It wasn't a bad job though. I was a bagger and had to get the carts from outside, and occasionally they made me clean the bathrooms :X

It's a good first job imo.

That's a good idea.

Grocery stores are a perfect work environment for high school students.

They can be flexible with your schedule and provide benefits too.
