they don't like it. My mom doesn't like that i coloured my hair and my dad was surprised. I think he more dislikes that I don't dress according to my assigned gender. They always make a point of telling me how to dress before I go out which really does bug me. Especially since I've never gotten any negative comments. Even his Highschool friend I'm visiting in Florida thinks it's it's cool what I do. lol wait till they find out I want to get a ton of piercings and tats. As far as I know, they'll always disapprove but love me for being their child regardless. Idk how to feel about that though. "Gee thanks you hate how I look but you love me anyway? Cool?"I could probably talk about it for hours but I'll stop here before it gets too long.

I was going to do short sides, long on top. Then grow it the sides out a bit.

that's a nice style, it's basically what i get done. short on the sides and back, longer on the top except my hair is cut considerably shorter on the top because that's what suits me. i think you should go for it, keep it a little longer than the photo because longer hair suits you.
