I've always thought employment is when you're being paid to do a job. If you're not being paid then you're not employed... it's like, volunteer work or something. You just said you're not being paid.

Oh don't get me started on that shit. Nothing like being up until 2am because the editor has remarks about the style before publishing. Thankfully most good journals have people who do just that for you. And many of the common styles in non-contintental journals look absolutely horrendous too. MLA, APA, CMS? Ugh, what is up with the double-spacing, large borders and lack of structuring with headlines.

Supporting businesses like McDicks or BK is essentially promoting a welfare state.
