Second hand store and garage sale finds

What are some cool things you've found at second hand shops and garage sales? I've found a lot of good non-fiction books and old N64 games before.

Two collections of H.P. Lovecraft's works, a few comics, a couple of Iain M. Banks's novels, Star Wars Battlefront.

I have yet to shop at a garage sale, but I got Splinter Cell for $2 from my local video game store before it closed down, the original version. Made it easy to softmod my Original Xbox.

I found a guy selling WWII Japanese officer Katanas for $100 a piece. His dad was a Marine who collected 5 of them. San Diego is a Marine town, so I have no problem believing that they were real. I didn't buy them because it felt wrong taking them from his heritage.

I buy old alcohol and sometimes old militaria at estate sales. Kind of pisses me off when I see flags and dress uniforms being sold though. Like, why the fuck doesn't the family want their father/grandfather/greatgrandfather's flag? Stepfather has a small collection of them because they often aren't bid on which means they go to the trash.

How exactly are the swords the guy's heritage? The only reason why he even came in contact with them is because his dad either took them from bodies or he bought them from people who took them. The swords are not the guy's heritage, they're nothing more than loot taking from bodies.
