It's a waste of time. It's entertainment, without any actual gain. Watching a sport won't increase your knowledge, or change your way of thinking. Watching a sport is gonna make you involved and swept away by some bullshit tactic that's designed to get fans to buy stuff like tickets and misc.

I bet most people don't even care about the actual sport, but about the social environment. Even if they care about the sport, what's with the amount of enthusiasm? Screaming at the tv is highly irrational and does literally nothing.

OT: If the Panthers blow this lead somehow, then it would be the biggest embarrassment. I really want the Panthers to win this, I'm sick of seeing the Seahawks in the playoffs already.
