Is not a thing but when your fear your own mind.  When I run a fever of 40c (104F) a night I begging to hallucinate. It could be in a dream or when I am awake. It could be a minor one to a full blown terror. The ones I can remember are

1)  It woke me up. Whatever I was thinking sounded like it was echoing around in my head. 

2)  It woke me up. It sound like there was 10 of me all arguing and talking in my head at the same time

3)  I believe I woke up only to find everything was upside down and I was walking on the sealing. It felt so real.

4)  My parent tried to wake me up because I was yelling and panicking in my sleep.  I snapped out of it only to find I    couldn’t see my eye were open and I could hear my parent but I could not see.

5) This one happened when I was younger I was screaming and panicking. From what my parent describe me a freaking out about thousands of spider everywhere.

6)Last but not least. I truly believe I had a sleep paralysis session. For those of you who are unware of what sleep paresis is :

Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which a person either during falling asleep (hypnagogia) or awakening (hypnopompia), temporarily experiences an inability to move, speak, or react accompanied by terrifying hallucinations (such as an intruder in the room) to which one is unable to react due to paralysis, and physical experiences (such as strong current running through the upper body). I will never forget what I saw and the inability to scream or move. My heart was pumping at a thousand beats per minute, sweating, fast depth breathing.

When you own mind turn against and your scared to go to sleep that a scary feeling. 

           
 

Has anyone ever experience something like this?

I've had the 6th one happen to me before.

I felt trapped in my own body. I wanted to scream.

But you can't. You can't move either and there that thing in your room.  I could not sleep for 2 days after something like that.

I mean, thats pretty scary but don't you just freak the hell out when bees, wasps, hornets, etc start buzzing around your head and don't stop until you're like 50 feet from your previous position?

When there is a thousand spider in your room crawling everywhere and one you.  Some of them were the size of a small dog. I was 10 years old

yeah but that was a hallucination. Bees are real fucking life.

Reminds me of the time many men in white coats took me away from my family. They put me in the dark room and sprayed me unconscious with the fire hose. When I woke up I met god and he gave me the food on a big black tray. His touch was gentle as he slowly inserted the clear glass tube deep into my nostrils. As I sniffed the milk he would scream my name across the room. This was my life up until I was found behind the aquarium 3 years ago.

Anyone experience something such as this?

I was able to when I was a kid.

Try training your mind to lucid dream

I was able to when I was a kid.

Why not now?

Maybe cause as a grew older my sense of imagination went away. I get the odd one and they're epic

I had sleep paralysis as a kid once. Was dreaming, realized it, everything went black, but instead of 'waking up' I just laid still and couldn't move or open my eyes. Like I was still dreaming, just of darkness, and couldn't wake up.

And then it stopped after about a minute, although a minute in 'dream time' can feel like much longer.
