Yep. Squad interaction was great and Leto was pretty good as a Joker (the cast in general was very good) but aside from that the plot felt rushed and the antagonist was weak. It was alright but that's it, alright.

It had good bits and bad bits. I didn't see enough of Joker to form an opinion of him, but he seemed a mix of disturbing and fucking annoying.

You can tell the film got chopped up to hell and the first half of the film felt such a disjointed mess. I honestly thought I was dozing off during a few parts and thought I'd missed scenes.

The points when the songs were added to the scene were just like... eh what?

We all knew Slipknot was going to die but damn, I didn't expect the other Squad members to be left out. I mean okay Killer Croc swam around in the sewer and Diablo turned into a fire stick figure but what the fuck was Katana's purpose? She just hopped onto the chopper as they were leaving and it was like 'oh yeah btw this is katana'

The villain just sort of appeared and was lame as hell. Enchantress was creepy and awesome until she turned into a Sailor Moon bellydancer.

And I'm getting really sick of action movies involving a giant beam in the sky.

Marvel movies lately have been pretty good, it's not just fanboyism- they are generally better movies.

It wasn't as bad as BvS. They still jammed too many characters in but they did a better job of it. I find Leto's joker a lot more creepy than Ledger's. That laugh.

I would've been disappointed at Jared Leto's performance if I honestly expected much from him--I didn't.

I think they realized they were never gonna top Heath Ledger, so the Joker was downplayed. Either way, I respect the decision, and that alone would've raised my score a little higher, because one of my biggest fears going in was that the Joker was going to be shoved in our faces, and Leto was gonna be too much of a tryhard--but he wasn't. He kinda played it safe.
