Forums like this, where people can flame each other for hours without punishment, are rare. The vast majority of most Internet communities will have punishments laid out for flaming, shitposting, etc.

Why? Because most people aren't degenerates like us, who are okay with the things we post on a day to day basis. It's not "strict"--it's normal human behavior, and the fact that you don't see that is kind of disturbing, and goes to show the level of desensitization that forums like this bring about.

We're the outlier--not them. They're just trying to run a forum.

Our entire dev team are amateurs.  I did coding shit for fun in High School, 6 years ago.  We're doing fairly well for having launched a week ago with no Web building background.

Built entirely by a group of community members, and with innovative and unique features, sep7 is one of the sleekest forums on the web.

He didn't when the site launched, he was still freelance.

Anyway, Nuka contributed by finding several of the site's features for them, and a lot of people use my script to customize the theme, and then there's Focnr who I know nothing about the background of, or his contributions to the site, but in all I'd say the team is pretty amateur.

I honestly think it's the only reason they've stayed "alive" this long. If you've ever witnessed a typical Sapphire member getting into an argument on the Flood or something, it's usually a pretty pitiful sight to see. They always go out, get rekt, start acting all arrogant like the argument is suddenly beneath them and then go back to Sapphire where they can circle jerk around how right they are.

It's not even worth trying to bring it to their attention at this point because it's been going on for something like 5 years or so that its just a defining part of the community. None of them even believe the place is a hug box.

Your script isn't part of the site's development, just something you felt like doing. Nuka was never apart of the team he just brought things to Cheat's and Isara's attention, so did many others. Focnr is the only unknown of the actual dev team.

The big change was the navbar when 2.0 hit. Other than that it was basically the same.

When was the first screenshot taken? Pretty sure the Serious board wasn't here in week #1
