There may be more of those things out there you know? And if you run into one.........what then?
Will you kill it like the last one?


*tilts head in interest as Jill slowly moves towards the exit*


You can back out that door human, and leave me behind. But more of these creatures will follow.
 Or........we can help each other. These are MY soldiers after all; using my tech. I know it well, and I don't think you fully understand what you're fighting yet.

But the choice is yours.

(En route to the Yukon)
"Chris come in. O'Brian here."

"This is him."

"We've lost communications with Jill. Be prepared for anything when you land."

"Will do. Over."

"These things...you know about them." Jill said as she still kept aiming her pistol at the alien's head. "There's one inside that room, in a test tube. Tell me what they are, I have never seen a infected like that one before."

*walks into the lab and picks up one of the test tubes. Examines it for a moment, then lays it aside and lets out a long sigh*


This is............not something I was expecting.
Do you have any idea what this is human?
We have a name for this creature.


*crosses arms and looks the human right in the eyes*



We call it "The Flood......"

"The Flood?" Jill repeated, she looked at the test tube creature. If this alien already knew of this then it means that this virus was not native to Earth. "But when Chris and I took Umbrella down a couple of years ago there were no records about this virus strain."

I'm as surprised as you are. I thought we destroyed the last of the parasite years ago.
But somehow my crew got infected, and somehow you humans had been studying the Flood for a while.

This lab is evidence of that.


*looks down for a moment, then takes a relaxed posture*



So, human. My proposition earlier?
What do you say? If the Flood are here, things are worse than you think.
Your entire planet may be at risk, and I'm stuck on it for now.
And I'd rather die fighting than wandering around in a blizzard.

*Lands at the same spot Jill was last heard from*

Chris spots a hole in the ground with bootprints among strange looking prints. Drawing his pistol he enters the hallway and prepares.

Deacon's story. Part 3:

The good news was that he wasn't in freefall anymore. The bad news was that he was gliding into an active volcano. Fortunately it wasn't erupting at the time, and if it wasn't for his oxygen mask and helmet, then he would be choking on the ash that was pouring out. He was hectically searching for a safe place to land. Although the word safe shouldn't ever be used inside of a volcano. He saw some rocks approaching to his left, well he hoped they were rocks at least. He had done so many parachute landings now that it had become second nature. When he landed, he was thankful the rocks were indeed rocks.

To any other human being, they would have passed out from the intense heat. But not him, for as long as he could remember he was never phased by any sort of heat whatsoever. He could still feel heat, but it was always more of a sensation than anything. He had carefully kept this a secret to everyone he knew. He took off his helmet and oxygen mask because the heat would have just burned it all up anyways.

He had no idea what to do now. He was stuck, and his radio still wasn't working. Even if it was he couldn't call for help. How would he explain that he was standing inside of a lava infested volcano, with no injuries? He couldn't climb either because of the angle of the walls. He had no idea what to do. But at least the volcano had stopped erupting. The ground began to shake, and there was a bright flash quickly afterwards.

He had spoken too soon.

Chris walks further down the hallway. Hearing a voice he quickens his pace and puts his finger on the trigger.

Chris hears Jill's voice and runs into the room she and this giant alien creature looking at her.

Instinctively he sees the alien as a threat and immediately starts shooting the alien creature...

*energy shields spark to life, blocking the bullets*

*draws plasma rifle and dives behind cover*



STAND DOWN HUMAN!



*checks gear, Active Camouflage is still damaged*

Jill had covered her head, but when the shooting stopped she saw her partner standing in front of her and the alien. "Chris!" She ran towards him, "We have to get this to the others." Jill gave her partner the documents she had found.

"And, get some accommodations to our new guest."

Guest?
What?
*Looks at the alien behind cover*

"We're doing first contact here, let's not have an alien species go to war with us, okay? And besides, he knows things about this new virus." Jill pointed at the documents. "Umbrella top stuff."

Chris looks at the documents.
"Oh well in that case."
"We should probably get out of here and get these back to base. Soooo let's go."

*emerges from cover with hand hovering over plasma rifle*

*walks towards Jill while keeping an eye on the other human*



..............you mentioned "accomodations"?


*crosses arms and tilts head skeptically*

"Hey!"
"Don't get any closer!"
Chris walks in front of the alien.

"Calm down, Chris." Jill held her partner from attacking the alien. "We'll have to take you to the BSAA immediately, there we can protect you from any other agency that would want to capture you."

*gives a quick nod, checks weapons*


Well, lead the way then.

The three walked out of the lab and into the mine, "We'll get a team down here for clean-up, you will tell us everything you know." She told the alien.

He opened his eyes. It was extremely bright. He didn't know what was going on. Was he dead? He could feel nothing and everything at the same time. It was a very confusing sensation. He raised his arms in front of him but he couldn't see them due to the lingering brightness. He felt like he was floating, but the air seemed very thick. He could hardly move. At this point he didn't know if it was heaven or hell. His body started to tingle, then he started feeling an unknown pain he had never felt before. He was burning, for the first time in his life he could feel the heat. It was excruciating. He screamed in pain. But he couldn't hear his own voice. He was sure this was the end. Darkness swept over him. 

Chris walks up close to the alien creature and whispers.
"Don't lay a finger on her"
