Everyone starts somewhere, I only had two screens when I first went mustard race. However if you have anyway of saving up money for your own interests, $400 and you can get a PC that will last you forever in anything you want to do with it, because: >MacQuote from: Kits on April 16, 2016, 02:59:03 PMI am le fail bot>Mac at home>only 2 monitors at work

We got the mac so my husband and I could make music together... no music has been made, and I am struggling big time with my computer gaming withdraws. Like seriously how can one thing be so god damn expensive and shitty at the same time!? Like you have to pay for the paint application. I regret my purchase, but I'll be able to get a new computer sooner than later. Just wait it will be great again.
Mac > PC
Sorry, I'm too busy uploading a video to Youtube while shit posting on here all while having FFXIV in the back ground and at a stable 120 fps on Maximum settings to notice the "qualities" of a mac. As stated previously, anything a Mac can do, a PC can do better infinitely.
How much did your Mac cost you? I bet for the same price (or less) you could have gotten a far better performing PC. Quote from: Icy on April 16, 2016, 04:00:43 PMMac > PC
For my career field and my personal needs? No, the cost was well worth it.

Digital Production and Editing, paired with journalism. Uh, think I paid $1,300 for it back in 2013.

For what I do, I wouldn't have been comfortable using a PC.

I live in a college dorm - why the hell am I going to build a PC when my Mac laptop can do what I need it to do, do it well, and can easily be moved?

Windows 10 still uses a 20-year old file system, software development is much less of a pain on OSX because file permissions aren't all over the place and the UNIX shell supports git commands, granted most people don't need this but overall OSX is just a better written piece of software not held together by strings and duct tape
