Huh? I've yet to meet someone that ever considered X-Men 1 & 2 bad films. Every X-Men fan I know almost universally considers 2 to be the best in the series.

3 isn't a good film yeah, but it isn't the worst piece of shit that ever graced the screen like people made it out to be. It suffered a lot of studio interference and reshoots in its defense. They did a relatively competent job given the circumstances even though I didn't particularly enjoy it.

I dunno, I don't remember them favorably but I don't know why. I need to go back and watch em.

Sep7 is the rotten tomatoes of Offsites when it comes to the latest entertainment that comes out.

Yeah it seems like the first two are pretty much overwhelmingly acclaimed by the fans. The only person I know that doesn't like them is a YouTuber that's a huge purist of the comics. I'd guess most people that don't like them probably have some kind of bias.

X-Men 1 and 2 are great, I don't think I've ever heard people hate them.
X-3 is boring.
Origins is hilariously entertaining.
First Class feels a bit like a straight to DVD movie but it's still good.

I watched them all recently and yeah they're a tad cheesy but I love them.

TLS was just bad though.

Why though? I believe you, I just don't remember it being bad except for the all the characters killed off.

The plot was too convoluted for the ratio of exposition to action, the characters were thin and emotional precedent was greatly based on their assumption that you have intimate prior knowledge of the character's relationships with each other. Beyond that, the previous films did little to set up those relationships, though they didn't lean on them anywhere near as heavily.

As for killing people off, it felt flimsy and they didn't do enough to emotionally endear you to those characters most of the time, and 9/10 times there was no real reason for that person to die at that point in the plot.

It was incredibly unfulfilling.

If its not perfect, it is absolute shit, the director / developer should kill his family and then drown in his own piss.

off the top of my head both nier and zelda are being enjoyed right now by people in the gaming section even though both games have flaws

Ah it was okay.
Some parts felt rushed a little and there was one part that felt just like plot glue but overall pretty entertaining.

Lucy wasn't great. A good time waster, but otherwise meh.

None of them are particularly good anymore (they've aged horribly), but the first two are praised almost universally.

Something to do with David Hayter's writing, maybe?

yeah

I haven't seen one X-men film, but I've actually heard nothing but good things about the first two movies. I'd think the only people who'd shit on those movies are people who would've shat on X-men (or anything capeshit) regardless.

The one I hear constant shit about is Origins, which--having seen a few clips--actually looks pretty laughable.

I honestly don't remember it being bad, up until they ruined Deadpool. I took that as a personally.
