Not only was that disengenous to ask, but it was extremely inappropriate. RDJ was there to promote a children's movie, not talk about highly sensitive, mature content like drug abuse.

A perfectly valid line of questioning, but not in an interview to promote a movie and discuss the growth of Iron Man as a character. I guess he was trying to draw parallels of RDJ to his character, but RDJ made it pretty clear that Iron Man is a character and not an extension of his own personality.
