Recommend me an anime and/or a manga.

Been out of teh anime loop for awhile. Looking for a series to watch, but I have no idea what to start off with.
Preferably something reasonably short. A handful of seasons at most.

I was into stuff like Samurai Champloo, DeathNote, Ghibli stuffs, DragonBall, etc.. Serious or comedy works.

So far I've heard good things about Cowboy Dandy. Attack on Titan gets a lot of buzz, but I've heard mixed reviews there.

The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

It's a comedy parodying Japanese super heroes and the Power Ranger part doesn't happen until halfway through the show.

20-22 episodes, not any longer than some of the others shows recommended here.

I'm weird. I like gory action shooty stuffs, stupid comedy, and serious emotional stuffs too.
As long as the plot and characters are well written I'm happy.

It came in ep 10 IIRC, I didn't know it was a comedy, it looked like it was actually being serious about itself. And Keyu did say he wanted something short, thats all.
