Stuff doesn't really "work" around here in any way. If you'd been here when the site was fresh, you'd been able to get in on some subgroups, but now it's all pretty much individual posters. You don't shape up to fit the mold, you just come as you are.

I'm starting to think that the only good thing I've got going for me in boxing is the fact that I'm always aware of the attacks/distance and intention of the ones I spar with as well as my jab, but I've started to see that there is so much more room for improvement, and that I'm at the threshold of fighting.

The ones I've sparred with so far have been bad. They're sticking to the basics and aren't challenging me beyond having to move and exert effort. I've never felt confused or a sense of urgency to get back in the game.

But there are much better fighters, and I should encounter them so that I can grow.

I'll drink tea everyday since it cured me of throat pain once before. For a few minutes I felt nothing in my throat, so if I keep it up I'm sure I'll have a speedy recovery.

If there are 40 users on here, then about 20 can say something that has some thought put behind it, but a chunk of those 20 will say very basic stuff in an effort to seem a part of things. I'm talking about the impression left when someone who doesn't fully know what they're talking about is trying to talk about something. So if there's a subject I want to discuss there are only a few users who can contribute to making the thread an enjoyable one.

I've recently been listening to what can only be described as Japanese scenecore. I'm not sure how I feel about this.
