Quitting caffeine & sugar

Temporarily. I'm going to a survival school in a couple weeks and I want to avoid the crashes and withdrawal before wandering around hungry in the woods or getting the piss beaten out of me.

Should I just quit cold-turkey (ha) or wean off of it? I'm not really doing anything right now so I don't need caffeine at all except for workouts.

That's what I was thinking, just get it over with, but I've never tried to quit caffeine so I have no idea what it feels like. Sugar isn't bad, it's just dealing with cravings for a few days.

I dunno about sugar but you could get really bad headaches for quitting coffee, I stopped drinking it last month for a bit and it was terrible.

Actually it can make you feel like shit depending on how your diet was beforehand. Anything in your gut that feeds on sugar is going to get aggravated if you start to starve it, and if there's too much of it the effects can really take their toll on you.

You aren't cutting carbs as well, though, so you'll probs be fine.

Quitting caffeine was pretty shit tbh. No energy for the first the days and p bad headaches. Took me a week and a half to balance out.

Cold turkey is the way to go.

Sugar is much easier, you just have to watch what you eat/drink, damn near everything has sugar in it now.
