This is still better than when let's say government uses quarantine to limit ability for people to gather together and protest so they could push unpopular decisions and laws which can lead to a default.

Cares if there are millions of them, as it happened back in 2014 here. Though we can't really pull out this move again, because of our not so friendly east neighbour called Russia which just waits for opportunity for chaos.

But yeah, our current government (president namely) is really afraid of riots happening, because he is dumb and also is manipulated into being afraid of it.

I still work my regular hours. The only difference now is that I don't have to drive 25 minutes each way to sit at a desk, I can do it by just getting out of bed.

I'm just helping my mom in housekeeping and gardening and stuff. I also look for job because quarantine delayed my military service and sometimes my friend from uni who doesn't know programming, but has to deal with it sends me programming tasks which I solve for some small amount of money.

I don't understand how people don't like this. I mean, I still have my job, the schedule is like, work five days, off seven.  The only thing that's a pain is some stores being closed and shipping from Europe being shut down.  but otherwise this is great.  Ive actually sorted one of my tubs of Bionicle/Hero Factory parts, and I have time to build again.   But being quarantined in this house sucks because this house just sucks in general.  I hesitate to even call it a house

I don't like it because I actually found a sense of fulfillment and meaning in my job, my free paychecks end next Thursday, and sitting at home playing video games and watching anime all night until 5am and waking up at 1pm for no regard of a consistent sleep schedule reminds me of my time as a NEET for six months before I started college. I can't apply for unemployment until my furlough starts so the constant stress of making sure I have a roof over my head and food to eat stays near the forefront of my thoughts.

Ironic isn't it? When people are given free time they have no idea what to do with their lives because work substitutes an existence with meaning. Look on the bright side buddy. You could be stuck at work like me and starting to feel the overload. This is my first and only day off in a month and a half of working twenty hour shifts and holy shit do I feel it after I stopped working for a bit.

It is in times like these we can be especially thankful for the wonders of telephones, FAX, telex, and email!
During other pandemics like the Spanish Flu, those poor buggers must have been especially isolated!

Why just yesterday I FAXed (is that a verb too?) my great grand aunt in law. Gee it really is cool when you think about it.

i dont mind it much, the only downside is that i havent seen my friends in a while
