Researchers have begun their first study of foxes in Prince Edward Island National Park, but say they are having a hard time trapping the animals. The UPEI researchers have joined with Parks Canada to study how foxes interact with humans, where they build their dens and what they eat.The researchers have previously studied fox behaviour in Charlottetown using GPS tracking collars. But in this study so far, all attempts to humanely trap the animals at Cavendish and Brackley have been unsuccessful.
They should leave something out in the open and when the fox tries to swipe it they catch it.
