That's astrophyics, astronomy is looking at stars and shit with regular telescopes, then radio telescopes, then hoping you can send a drone there sometime to look at rocks.

Not being overly cynical; from personal experience, there's a mix of physics, chemistry, and electrical/computer work that mostly manifests in experiments, chart reading, spectroscopy, and interpreting data.

Although, yeah there are some times where you just sit around until 3am inside a small bunker next to a radio telescope waiting for the time to be right to record the signals from something, then you just turn a few knobs press a couple buttons then do that again 15 minutes later before walking 1/2 a mile, hoping you don't startle a deer, back to the beds and going to sleep.

Unfortunately, our methods of verbalization in all sciences still heavily rely on Aristotelian semantics.
But Psychology is one of the worst areas imo, not to mention all the social biases of what "correct" behavior is and how to treat people medically instead of psychologically resolving problems.

I ain't smart enough to trudge through four more years of brain-numbing math that I probably can't do anyway, my BS in Astronomy is going to be hard enough on its own. Umass Amherst has a program called BDIC (Bachelors Degree with Independent Concentration, which I'm currently in), which I might use to design a major entirely centered around scientific journalism and maybe incorporate some public relations with STEM organizations.
