Rockets on my X
Ever tried passing someone and they speed up right as you pull next to them?

Fuck those guys.

You know what's fun to do with them?

Fake them out. Works every time. You slow down and lag behind them, and when they let their guard slip you step on it.

Bonus points if you've got your middle finger out the window as you pass them.

What's driving
Driving most often refers to the controlled operation and movement of a motorized vehicle, such as a car, truck, or bus.

The origin of the term driver, as recorded from the 15th century, refers to the occupation of driving working animals, especially pack horses or draft horses. The verb ' to drive ' in origin means "to force to move, to impel by physical force". It is first recorded of electric railway drivers in 1889 and of a motor-car driver in 1896. Early alternatives were motorneer,[1] motor-man, motor-driver or motorist. French favors "conducteur" (the English equivalent, "conductor", being used —from the 1830s— not of the driver but of the person in charge of passengers and collecting fares), while German influenced areas adopted Fahrer (used of coach-drivers in the 18th century, but shortened about 1900 from the compound Kraftwagenfahrer), and the verbs führen, lenken, steuern —all with a meaning "steer, guide, navigate"— translating to conduire.

Driving in traffic is more than just knowing how to operate the mechanisms which control the vehicle; it requires knowing how to apply the rules of the road (which govern safe and efficient sharing with other users). An effective driver also has an intuitive understanding of the basics of vehicle handling and can drive responsibly.

Although direct operation of a bicycle and a mounted animal are commonly referred to as riding, such operators are legally considered drivers and are required to obey the rules of the road. Driving over a long distance is referred to as a road trip.

If anybody Tailgates you when you're at or above the speed limit, they should automatically have their licenses revoked. In Australia at least, Tailgating is illegal. It's like they're completely ignoring the possibility of the car in front needing to perform an emergency stop (uncommon, but still a possibility), the weight of the cars (a highway-speed impact is more than enough to cause a severe injury), and, you know, the fact that if you're proven to have been in the wrong in a Car collision, Insurance ain't paying Jack.

I usually do the speed limit, and slow down by 10 km/h to let an overtaking car pass easier than normal. If I'm doing the speed limit, and someone is sitting right on my rear bumper, I like to play a game where I pump the brakes very lightly so I don't actually slow down, but in quick succession, so the brake lights flash on and off quickly. Usually the driver will shit themselves at that point and back off :^)

Oblivious drivers are the worst... My favorites are the idiots who use the merge lane and act as if it doesn't end and don't bother looking LEFT to see whether or not there's room for them to merge in the first place and adjust accordingly.

I thought about slamming the breaks. The engine is in the back, and if they hit it hard enough, your paying for something worth more then a house.

But thats an uber dick move id never pull

Isn't the wheel arch panel of a Lambo worth more than a Ford Focus? Shit's pricey, yo

And yeah you could seriously ruin somebody's life if they had to pay for repairs.

Wasn't driving one of the lambos. And I honestly have no idea. Getting a flat tire repaired costs a small fortune however. Personal experience

If someone wants to overtake me, then I'm not going to impede their passage because I feel like it.

I'm quite happy driving slowly (relative to the speed limit obviously) on the outside lane (Unless I've got the terms mixed up, but the one that people don't/shouldn't use to overtake)

However, if someone is driving right up my arse as they did during one of my earlier driving lessons then I uhh, yeah. Road Rage starts to occur >_>

downshifting is better. No brake lights, so they can't say you break checked them.
Brake checking counts as reckless driving and can put you at fault in some places.

>What other drivers on the road seem to me sometimes when I try to be a good driver

YouTube

It's not that, it's that people need to learn to move.  The left lane is for passing, not going whatever the fuck speed you feel like.  If you're not going fast enough to adequately pass people in the right lane, get the fuck out of the left lane.
It's even a state fucking law here. Nobody cares though... and it infuriates me.
No shit.  I deal with it everyday on 33.  Its usually someone from Jersey cuz oh man, theyre from Joisey betta stay in the passin lane and go unda the limit.

as someone from jersey I have to say that everyone here are pretty terrible drivers.
My uncle is a good example

reminder that it's more dangerous to stick to the speed limit than it is to match the speed of traffic
